01Our Story
In the era of modern cloud computing and rapid AI acceleration, compute is the fundamental fuel of software innovation. Yet developers, startups, and researchers face a broken experience: proprietary cloud lock-in, inflated compute markups, opaque hardware allocations, and surprise bandwidth egress bills.
Traditional cloud providers ask you to trust synthetic marketing slogans rather than real numbers. Two virtual machines with identical “vCPU” counts from different providers or availability zones can exhibit wildly different performance characteristics—from sluggish memory bus latency to throttled disk I/O.
We founded nodepick.ai in Silicon Valley with a straightforward conviction: developers deserve real data, unified access, and honest pricing. Instead of forcing teams into walled gardens, we built an engine that continuously benchmarks compute hosts, aggregates bare-metal and virtualization providers, and offers unified provisioning through a single developer API, Python SDK, and CLI.
